Clean Air Pursuit – Do it well.

Many People, Homes, and Businesses are impacted by Mold, Mold Mycotoxins, and indoor Allergens. 50 to 65% of homes have problem levels of mold. Actinobacteria and endotoxins may also be a concern — especially since moisture issues can instigate these as well as mold. VOC’s (Volatile Organic Compounds) are also common IAQ (Indoor Air Quality) issues.

  • Mycotoxins are chemical poisons produced by a sub-set of molds — especially molds that are commonly found in indoor water damage situations.
  • Some mycotoxins are among the most poisonous chemicals on the planet.
  • Various factors can trigger a much greater mycotoxin volume and/or toxicity-strength in the mycotoxins a particular mold may produce.
  • Mycotoxins tend to adhere to what they touch, including surfaces, and many cleaning methods do not neutralize or remove these chemical poisons.
    • Some Mycotoxins may last for months or years after the mold that produced them is gone – on surfaces, carpets, dust, etc.

A friend/fellow mold inspector recently shared that 60% of their clients, first contacted them because the client remained sick, after failed mold mitigation work that was not properly completed or was insufficient for mold sensitized individual(s). This often occurs because there is no follow-up “clearance inspection” or the “clearance inspection” was incomplete/poorly done, or did not utilize up-to-date criteria that is based on the latest science – so a need for further work was not flagged. Frequently, the original inspections and/or instructions from the Inspector to the Mold mitigation company are incomplete or poorly done as well.

In some of these cases, the problem was that the Inspector and/or Mitigation employees were not well-trained for helping the 20 to 25% of the U.S. population that are mold sensitized due to genetics and/or significant past mold exposures. Often these people need a more thorough protocol and implementation for cleansing their home. In these cases, as well as in many “normal” mold situations, a major weak or missing piece is proper Cleansing/Sanitization beyond the general areas near where actual mold growth was found.

Sometimes this travel also “finds” additional moisture sources to begin new colonies.

  • This is especially problematic when water/moisture intrusion has resulted in significant mold growth producing a high-volume of spores and fragments. Often including a larger variety of molds of special concern, including molds capable of producing the more serious mycotoxins.
  • Breathing in significant volumes of these spores, fragments, and potentially any mycotoxins they carry can become serious over time.
    • Inhalation has been found to be many times more impactful to health as opposed to other forms of exposure, such as in foods.
    • Mold spores and other very tiny inhaled particles/fragments are able to penetrate deeper into the lungs – not good.
  • Cross-contamination of mold and/or high volumes of spores can and often do travel on clothes, furniture, bedding, books, and other belongings from a contaminated area to other areas … or to separate structures. This can be a very big deal.

Before I became a Mold / IAQ Assessor (inspector) I was one of those people that was personally impacted by mold and mold mycotoxins in a BIG way. Along the way, as I was learning to help protect others (and myself), I have directly worked with well over 60 excellent mold experts of many kinds, including:

  • Many different Mold / IAQ inspectors (including top-tier experts the government called after an anthrax attack.)
  • People that led and participated on teams that wrote international mold & moisture standards and guidelines.
  • Mold Remediation companies.
  • People that founded Labs to help people damaged by mold and mold mycotoxins. (usually including themselves or their direct family)
  • Mold Medical experts. As I learned from many sources, most doctors do not have the expertise for effective diagnosis and effective treatment of significant mold illnesses.
    • Dr. Marjorie Peak, a RealTime Labs Consulting Physician noted that “The majority of patients with mold or environmental illness have seen 10-12 doctors before finding the causes and beginning of solutions to their ailments.”
    • On 12/9/2025, Dr. Andrew Heyman described similar statistics for his patients impacted by mold and other biotoxins.
  • Global Leaders in advanced Ionization technologies of multiple types that produce safe, but powerful air Cleansing & Sanitization.
    • Technologies determined as safe for hospitals, schools, churches, offices, homes, etc.
  • People with decades of experience with the better HEPA and HEPA-Carbon Filtration + MULTI–Technology Cleanse, Filtration & Sanitization.
  • HVAC experts & trainers that service some of the world’s largest companies, plus Schools, Hospitals, small businesses, and homes.
    • HVAC (Heating, Air Conditioning, and Ducts/Air Flow) are a critical component with mold and IAQ (Indoor Air Quality) issues.
  • Founders of Excellent Mold Inspection and Inspector Support organizations. Especially one of the largest Mold Inspection Training & Support organizations in the World. I believe they are also one of the most advanced for Mold Assessment (inspections) and also Mold Mitigation Training. Through them, I have learned proper/better methods to “catch” and deal with some of the things that so many Mold Assessors commonly miss.
    • I would have saved MANY thousands of dollars if I had this advanced training and knowledge of better solutions a few years earlier.
      • Fortunately, I can now help you utilize these better methods.

I am incredibly grateful for this exceptional team of experts and the incredible knowledge they have provided and continue to provide.

As a CMA (Certified Mold Assessor), CMR (Certified Mold Remediator), NCRSI (NORMI Certified Remediation for Sensitized Individuals), NCBA (NORMI Certified Biotoxin Assessor) and CMI (Certified Mold Inspector), plus other advanced training, I want to help you avoid problems that so many others have experienced … or help discover answers to start recovering from problems you may already be experiencing. Or even better, gain peace-of-mind that things are OK. I will listen to YOU, to learn, advise, and pursue YOUR goals and needs.
