There are many reasons people call:

After a Leak, a Hot-water Tank bursts, or other Water Damage event.
After a major storm that might have caused leaks.

Health Symptoms: My Mold/Mycotoxin exposure originally resulted in Chronic Fatigue, Brain Fog, Immune System suppression, and serious issues with my red and white blood cells. Doctors told me these and quite a few other possibilities are all too common in mold mycotoxin situations. They told me mold symptoms often appear like symptoms that accompany other serious illnesses. And it is common for each person to have a different set or mixture of symptoms. If you and your Doctor are working on unexplained health issues, a Mold Assessment (inspection) with its sampling may make sense. Even more so if you think the timing may be related to a move or water or moisture damage situation.

Having a Mold / Indoor Air Quality Inspection (Assessment) can be far cheaper than living with hidden mold issues and letting mold, health damage, and/or house/building damage get worse.

New May 2024 Tornado leaks apparently re-activated and worsened old, dormant mold. Clearly the previous owner’s repair people had covered up mold growth instead of removing moldy materials. The visible portion of the sheet rock didn’t look bad … only a few spots of potential mold were visible.

However, there was a lot more mold hidden inside the wall — the picture at left was just the start.

WORST of All — the wall cavity was fully exposed to the Heat & Air Return (air-intake), so mold spores were being sucked in and spread throughout the house by the Heat & Air unit. Heat & Air units are often a central piece of the puzzle in resolving mold problems.

Un-mitigated Mold growth and its spores tend to spread, build-up, and increase in their damage and health impacts.
